Professional Development

IIDA’s Professional Development committee helps strengthen the interior design industry through support throughout the professional’s career; from student members to those studying for the NCIDQ examination to continuing education units that help all members stay on top of current issues within the profession.
Continuing Education (CEU)

CEU Compliance: The current compliance period runs from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023. IIDA Professional and Associate Members are required to complete and report 1.0 CEU (10 hours) of Continuing Education prior to December 31, 2023. All Professional and Associate Members (active and inactive) including Educators, IIDA Fellows and Chapter Officers must adhere to IIDA compliance requirements.

The current compliance period applies if you became a Professional or an Associate Member prior to January 1, 2022. This allows you two years to complete the 1.0 CEU requirements. If you became a Professional or Associate Member after January 1, 2022 your first compliance period begins January 1, 2024.

IIDA accepts all IDCEC approved courses. It is the responsibility of each Member to maintain their own records.

Please review the Helpful Hints attachment before using the IDCEC CE Registry.  Attachment can be accessed here.

"IIDA has been such a great networking tool for me as a manufacturing rep. Design and trends are constantly evolving and it has been a great avenue to share in my knowledge and at the same time learn from my peers."
