Advocacy
This year, we are presenting a new segment to bring the awareness of design to our local community.
Our Advocacy program will focus on three major areas:
- Internal strengthening of the professional level of our IIDA interior designers
- External reach to educate end-users and the general public on the value of engaging educated and professional designers for their projects
- Legislative issues leading to the licensure of interior designers within the State of Hawaii
We look forward to communicating with affiliate design and architectural organizations within Hawaii to collaborate, share knowledge and strengthen the quality of our collective work.
