This course explores the composition and manufacturing of different metal finishes in home design, as well as the historical use, contemporary choices, and vocabulary of the most common metal finishes. Specific processes such as electroplating, caring for living finishes, and examples of mixing different finishes are explored, with particular emphasis on the kitchen & bath area.
