INTERIOR DESIGN ADVOCACY IN HAWAII & NCIDQ CERTIFICATION

July 30 @ 5:30 pm8:00 pm
Free

The Hawaiʻi design community is being called back to the table.

ASID and IIDA are joining forces to host an evening of open, honest, and forward-thinking conversation about interior design advocacy in HawaiÊ»i and the path to NCIDQ certification. Whether you’re just discovering the field, working toward licensure, or have years of experience under your belt — this event was built with you in mind.

This panel discussion aims to restart and reinvigorate the conversation around what it means to advocate for the interior design profession in our state — why it matters, what’s at stake, and how each of us plays a role.

A panel of 3–4 design professionals will share their perspectives and experiences on:

  • The current landscape of interior design advocacy in HawaiÊ»i
  • The value and importance of NCIDQ Certification for the profession
  • Practical advice and guidance for those pursuing certification
  • What the future of interior design looks like in our islands

The panel discussion will be followed by a live Q&A session with the audience — an opportunity to ask questions, share your experiences, and engage directly with industry leaders.
