The IIDA Hawaiʻi Pacific Chapter is proud to congratulate G70 on being recognized in the 2026 ALA/IIDA Library Interior Design Awards.
G70 received top honors in the Academic Libraries – Small (30,000 sq. ft. and under) category for the Hawaiʻi Baptist Academy Innovation and Discovery Center, a reimagined elementary campus featuring a new library, flexible classrooms, maker lab, enhanced outdoor learning spaces, and improved campus circulation.

Led by Kellye Greco, IIDA, NCIDQ, Principal and Interior Designer at G70, the project responded to the challenge of expanding the school’s evolving needs while preserving its historic campus, central quad, and mature monkeypod trees. The resulting design seamlessly integrates with the landscape, creating a welcoming learning environment that strengthens the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Presented jointly by the American Library Association (ALA) and IIDA, the Library Interior Design Awards recognize outstanding library projects that demonstrate excellence in design, creativity, and function.
Congratulations to Kellye, the G70 team, and everyone involved in this remarkable achievement. We are proud to celebrate another example of Hawaiʻi’s design community being recognized on the national stage.
